Moments of Magic: When Art is for Everyone
In Pedaleando Hacia el Cielo, our performers cycle through the sky, wrapped in a circular film screen with breathtaking projections, while operatic music fills the air. People who may have never seen an opera suddenly find themselves captivated by one – right in the middle of their city.
In Garden of Angels, actors glide beneath a canopy of hundreds of twinkling fairy lights as music and movement blend seamlessly. A passerby, on their way home from work, might look up and be swept into a world of beauty and enchantment.
In Above and Beyond, aerialists spin and play high above the crowd -cheeky and full of life- creating a moment of pure joy for a child who’s had a rough day at school or an ailing grandmother who can’t endure hours in a dusty theater seat. Both are captivated, reminding us that art has the power to transcend age, circumstance, and expectations.
