While we have always blended existing music into our performances, Theater Tol will soon introduce original compositions, written by none other than our own business director, Benjamien Lycke—a composer whose work spans opera, film, contemporary concert music, and multimedia projects.
With compositions featured in award-winning films, contemporary ensembles, and productions for brands like Chanel, Benjamien brings a diverse musical background to Theater Tol. His experience includes writing operas performed across Europe, orchestral and choral works, and experimental soundscapes that merge music with movement and visual storytelling. Now, he will craft original scores that are uniquely tailored to the rhythm, emotion, and theatricality of our performances.
This means that in the near future, Theater Tol’s sound will become even more distinct, offering audiences a completely original auditory and visual experience.
